Isaku Endo is a Senior Financial Sector Specialist in Finance, Competitiveness and Investment Global Department in the Eastern and Southern Africa Region at the World Bank. In his capacity, he leads financial sector development programs in Zambia and Zimbabwe and the Horn of Africa the De-Risking, Inclusion and Value Enhancement of Pastoral Economies (DRIVE) project. Previously, based in the Philippines and Indonesia, he led financial sector programs in the Philippines and Brunei Darussalam and payment system development, digital finance and regional payment system integration. He is specialized in financial market infrastructures, payments/remittances and AML/CFT.
