The Global Shield Financing Facility (GSFF) Secretariat welcomes the Final Evaluation Report, which affirms the Facility's relevance, operational performance, and distinct value within the global disaster risk financing landscape. The evaluation recognizes GSFF's integrated approach — combining technical assistance, financial support, and World Bank operational linkages — across more than 20 countries. Key recommendations address strategic positioning, coordination with partner programs, results measurement, and sustainability. The GSFF Secretariat will incorporate them into future work planning through donor consultations. GSFF remains committed to supporting vulnerable countries in building resilient, government-led disaster risk financing solutions that mobilize private capital and strengthen adaptive social protection systems.
